James Jesus Angleton, noto anche con il soprannome The Kingfisher , è stato un agente segreto statunitense.
È stato a lungo il capo del controspionaggio della CIA. Se il Generale William Joseph Donovan può essere definito il padre della CIA, dal suo canto Angleton è considerato la "madre" della intelligence statunitense.
