Scott Adams è un fumettista statunitense.

È celebre per essere il creatore della striscia a fumetti Dilbert, nonché scrittore di diversi libri di filosofia e di parodie satiriche. Ricevette la "Bachelor's degree" in Economia al Hartwick College e dal 1979 ed è anche socio del Mensa. Ha teorizzato il principio di Dilbert, secondo il quale le aziende tendono a promuovere i dipendenti più incapaci per impedirgli di far danni.

Scott Adams è un accanito fan di Babylon 5, una serie TV di tipo fantascientifico. È perfino comparso nella stagione 4 della serie, nell'episodio "Moments of Transition" nella parte di un personaggio chiamato Mr. Adams, che assolda l'ex-capo di sicurezza Michael Garibaldi per trovare il suo cane smarrito. Scott è un membro della International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
