Gerald Rudolph "Jerry" Ford Jr., nato Leslie Lynch King, Jr. , è stato un politico statunitense, 38º presidente degli Stati Uniti d'America dal 1974 al 1977.

È stato l'unico a divenire Presidente senza essere stato eletto nemmeno come vicepresidente, venendo infatti nominato da Nixon alla seconda carica dell'Unione soltanto dopo le dimissioni del vicepresidente eletto con Nixon, Spiro Agnew.
