Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse è stato uno scrittore inglese, famoso per le sue trame complesse, il sofisticato uso del linguaggio e la prolifica produzione.

Wodehouse, soprannominato "la pulce ammaestrata della letteratura inglese", fu un maestro riconosciuto della lingua inglese e di stile, con ammiratori che vanno dai contemporanei come Hilaire Belloc, Evelyn Waugh e Rudyard Kipling agli scrittori moderni come Salman Rushdie e Douglas Adams.

Oggi ricordato soprattutto per i romanzi e i racconti di Jeeves e del Castello di Blandings, Wodehouse fu anche un autore di testi musicali, scrisse con Cole Porter il musical Anything Goes, collaborò spesso con Jerome Kern.
