Eckhart Tolle è uno scrittore e oratore tedesco, famoso per i suoi bestseller "Il potere di adesso" e "Un nuovo mondo". Nato a Lünen, in Germania, ha vissuto un'infanzia infelice fino all'età di 13 anni. Successivamente si trasferì in Spagna con suo padre e solo a 22 anni decise di iscriversi all'università in Inghilterra.
