"Quale tremendo, insondabile potere di immaginazione" si disse "ha formato ognuno dei più piccoli oggetti che ho d'intorno, e li ha combinati in una possente unità! Io non sono una persona modesta, ho una notevole considerazione per i miei talenti, e oso cred­ere che avrei anche potuto immaginare l'una o l'altra delle cose che mi circondano. It was the live impetuous blood pulsating within the animal, which had radiated out all that glow and splendor. Now that the flame was put out, and the soul had flown, the Iguana was as dead as a sandbag.”
