“Words And Words

Among the folds of listening
the misunderstood opens chasms
in silences filled with unease,
your glances branch out ancient memories on the windowsill
of life written
in my pages
still virginal,
timid to reveal
to my heart,
reflected in yours so sincere
that it still nourishes barefoot hopes
on paths of non-extinction.
Slowly dance and press on
words and words
chasing breaths
of suspended moments
in my friendly arm,
that gathers pauses
setting tears
thirsty for love,
I gently kiss one
on your beautiful rosy face
savoring the candor
of its melancholy
cradled not for me!
I smile at you, dim,
letting myself sink
into my unconfessed error
of loving you in shadow
again and again,
and like a fugitive I avoid
entering into you
into your ebony eyes
blind and deep
like unexplored galaxies.
Scent of brugmansia
draws wonder
on your lament
full of nostalgia
untying you from its ribbons
that hold back
your gray rhymes.
Now you smile sighing
with your beloved flowers,
those angel trumpets
that resemble
your moods
of pedunculate words
set on the pavement
of rejected naked reality,
but among them
I see the most beautiful flower,
most splendid and imposing,
uncultivated innocent beauty
that gathered in my hands
is always you giving
dazzling emotions
of authentic certainties,
in that rare uniqueness
that gives life
to your loving gaze,
that everything for me
I would have wanted it to be,
to smile with you in love.

“The Bible was very definitely written by men, and not superior men either; far from it! This is why so much of it can be shown to be historically and scientifically dead wrong about damned-near everything back-to-front.”
