“[Sul gatto] Circonda questa creaturina fiduciosa anche un'aura fatale e triste. Nei secoli è stata abbandonata molte volte, lasciata morire in freddi vicoli urbani, in torridi terrains vagues assolati, tra cocci di terraglie, ortiche, muri crollati. Tante volte ha gridato aiuto invano.
